Connecting with Community
In fulfilling the mission to to feed the hungry, cloth the naked, nourish the sick, protect the aged, care for the infants, and comfort the broken hearted; Operation Careshare needs all hands on deck for our annual give-away events. Whether you donate cash, gifts, or time. We support our most vulnerable members of our community as the elderly living at local nursing homes during the holidays, homeless veterans and kids in foster care. Majority of these individuals don't have any family or little to none basic needs during the holiday season. The mission is to show them that we care for them and wants them to enjoy the holiday festivities. Below are some of our past efforts connecting with the community.
Don't wait, get involved. So much good can be done, for everyone.

The goal was accomplished by showing them that we care for them and wants them to thrive in creativity, peace, and unity.
Volunteers collected non-perishable foods, winter clothing and stocking stuffers to give out to neighborhood families living in the Salvation Army's Woman and children shelter who were having hard times during the pandemic. We know that no child should go through winter without warm clothes, nutritious hot food and festivities. LAN INC believes in and hope to inspire further community efforts to come together to help each other through hard times.
With support from the community, and businesses throughout the area, we were able to fundraise by acquiring donations of soft goods like clothing and other household linens to donate to Saver's Fund drive. All monies were allocated to the diaper bank serving families in the Hartford, CT area.
