Connecting with Community
The Ice Cream Dream Sweepstakes is a psychosocial initiative designed to inspire and motivate young people to envision and articulate their future aspirations. Through creative writing, participants are encouraged to express their dreams and goals, fostering a sense of ambition and direction. The sweepstakes culminates in the opportunity for a lucky winner to enjoy an entire ice cream truck load of delicious treats, serving as a sweet reward for their imaginative endeavors. The goal is to encourage youth to set goals and think critically about their future aspirations, promote creativity and self-expression through the medium of writing, empower participants to believe in their potential and take proactive steps towards their dreams, and build a sense of community by bringing together young individuals from diverse backgrounds around a common theme of aspiration and ambition.
