SUPPORT OPERATION CARESHARE
Join us in our efforts to stock our pantries and provide essential support to families in our community. We are actively seeking donations of healthy, non-perishable food items to ensure a well-rounded selection for those in need. Thanks to our valued partners, we can offer a variety of fresh food options, including pasta, cereal, oatmeal, canola oil, peanut butter, and canned goods such as beans, fruit, vegetables, soup, tuna in water, meat, and sauce.
To maintain the highest standards of safety and quality, we regretfully cannot accept food items from individuals due to concerns about expiration dates and proper storage conditions. Instead, we kindly invite you to contribute to our cause by making a monetary donation or by shopping our Amazon Shopper's Paradise. Your support will enable us to purchase the necessary items and make a positive impact on the lives of families in our community. Thank you for your generosity!
Promise Zone Pantry
Promise Zone Pantry operates in Hartford, CT and in Jacksonville, FL and the primary goal is to relieve hunger within the inner city and help the homeless and local families with emergency food expenses. This “community investment” initiative will help raise awareness to alleviate the immediate crisis by being the only agency providing hot, nutritious meals to over 250 community residents weekly during the month. LAN partnered with the various distribution sites with high hopes to conquer mal-nutrition by free food distribution and display! This hunger relief project is a non- profit community collaboration to address the shortage of nutritious and healthy cooked meals.
This is a minority-led initiative, and our goal is to allow all youth and their families in the area a safe place to enjoy fresh food, recreation and show them that we care for them and wants them to thrive in creativity, peace, and unity.
We are currently collecting non-perishable foods, clothing and personal care items to include diapers, sanitary pads, adult diaper care, and treats to give out to neighborhood families who are having hard times during this pandemic. We know that no child should go through winter without decent clothes, good hot food and festivities. Even though this is just one charity event out of the week, we believe in and hope to inspire further community efforts to come together to help each other through hard times. In fact, this will be the first ‘community investment’ open for display all-day on a Saturday afternoon. For the next six months LAN prays for help to host a community dinner event every month where we will be giving away free food, and many other opportunities to support the most vulnerable members in our community. We invite you to come out to the food distribution to pick up free food, clothing and goodies. TO RSVP a grab-n-go and For more info Contact Tania Banks.
